Just a short, hurried, update letter...

I have been working feverishly (as many of you are aware) trying to get my new business products finished and available for sale. The web site, with my first product for sale,  went live on April 14th--thanks to so many of you for your prayers and emails of encouragement to me on this. I have been working mostly non-stop since then trying to get the next round of products up. I had promised myself a break to do some Tank work when I got a couple more done, and although I am only 2/5 of the way through with the second set of videotapes, I took off most of Monday, Tuesday, and today (so far) to write an article for the Tough Questions Lab. [I also made significant progress on Sunday night on "gutripper2", but that won't be finished for a couple of weeks probably...not a simple issue, you know...]

But I need some serious prayer for the next 30 days...

My products are geared for IT/MIS/IS executives, and my site and product offerings are not known but to a few of these. A major magazine is considering writing a review of them, which would instantly solve the 'advertising problem', but I do not know when/if this will occur. My problem is simple--I will run out of living money in about 30-45 days...I still have some additional upcoming printing expenses ($4k) for this second set of videos, which will reduce my buffer somewhat as well...If I can sell ten or so of the first seminar sets during May, I can "buy another month" in waiting for the magazine review...If the sales ramp does not start relatively soon (I have not sold any so far), I will need to consider searching for and going back into an executive job (eating up most of my time). If the sales ramp starts and grows strong within the month, then in literally 3-4 weeks I can start devoting 2+ weeks a month full-time to the Tank(!), and after a few more months, almost ALL of my time to it...maybe you can see my vision and dream here...
 

What I need you to pray for me (frequently during the next 30-45 days, if possible), is for

(1) wisdom to know how to manage my cash to stretch it as far as possible;
(2) wisdom and obedient sensitivity to know when/if God might want me to adopt alternate plans;
(3) an early--and positive(!)--magazine review [the promo  copies of the products were wonderfully received, so I know they will be of very high value to IT execs];
(4) 'quietness and confidence' to ward off the coming battles with doubt that I anticipate might arise soon(!);
(5) some interim sales to take some pressure off the decision process timeline, and off me as a father in providing for my kids; and that
(6) the people who need that information the most can get access to it quickly.

I will try to post update-letters fortnightly on this, until the way is clear...
